Borussia Zamrud Football Club was formed in 2008.

BZFC started their participation in started their participation in mature  league  in Singapore. The team qualified for National Football League after performing phenomenal season in 2008 and has been promoted to a higher division every single season.

Perhaps a key success factor of BZFC is the ability to retain talent and prevent players from leaving due to dissatisfaction. While internal fights and squabble is a common thing within amateur football teams, BZFC'S players are clearly a united and tightly knit bunch.

The club management and background staff attributed BZFC's success to teamwork; not just on the pitch, but support from every single backend department as well. The organisation at the management level has been tremendous and everyone

pledging their loyalty to the club.

On the other hand, the club persist a Veteran team which actively involve annually in Veteran’s soccer tournament locally and overseas as well. This involvements provide a platform for veteran football aficionados in Singapore to come together and roll back the years for a weekend of competitive football, aimed at fostering friendship and goodwill among its participants, as well as promoting sports and a balanced lifestyle for Singaporeans of all ages.
